Earn money toward Tuition & Production Fees through Scrip!

What Is Scrip?
Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. When you purchase scrip, you’re purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials.

How scrips generates revenue for you!
The Great Lakes Scrip Center acts on behalf of non profit organizations to purchase large amounts of scrip from retailers. Because the scrip is purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount. The discount from two to fifteen percent or more – can be used to offset the cost of tuition and production fees.

ShopWithScrip.com is a fully secured web application that allows you to place orders online 24 hours a day.
To use ShopWithScrip you need an email address and the CYT Denver Enrollment Code: L81C72FB19451
To begin ordering or set up your account, click here.

Four great reasons to use Shopwithscrip.com:
*ShopWithScrip is more accurate than the paper order form; discounts, products and denominations are updated immediately by GLSC as changes occur.
*ShopWithScrip tracks purchase history and your current order status, giving you better records.
*ShopWithScrip allows you to keep a favorites list and to search by Brand, Category or Retailer Name, making ordering easier.
*ShopWithScrip allows you to see the front and the back of the scrip card showing any restrictions and allows you to check where the card can be used. Some cards can be used at several retailers such as the Gap/Old Navy/Banana Republic/Piperlime group.

ShopWithScrip is free to use if you pay by check. There is a convenience fee of $.39 if you use Presto Pay.

If you pay by check you will get a screen with an order confirmation. Print this page and submit to your Scrip Administrator with your check. The order will then be released by the administrator when the CYT Denver orders are placed for that week.

If you pay by Presto Pay you will also get a confirmation screen stating the amount that will be taken out of your bank account. Your order is automatically included in the next order CYT Denver places. You do not need to do anything further. Your Scrip will be delivered at classes on the next delivery week.

Scrip Tips

Timing your order:

Scrip orders will be collected at classes every other week during a session; money must be received at class on order week for order to be processed. The Scrip will be delivered at classes on the following week after the order is placed. If using Presto Pay, order must be completed by 8am on Friday of the order week. Presto Pay orders will be deducted from your bank account immediately.

Picking up your order:

The Scrips orders will be given to the Area Coordinator. We want to get your Scrip to you as soon as possible. Please make every effort to pick it up during these times. Scrip will not be delivered to children or be placed in the Area Coordinator’s message box. An adult will need to sign for receipt of the Scrip.

Reloading:

*A few retailers participate in reloading cards, please check website at www.shopwithscrip.com for participating retailers.
*Only cards that were originally purchased through Great Lakes Scrip can be reloaded.
*You can choose any amount to put on the card, up to a maximum specified.
*If you submit an order with only reloads on it and pay with Presto Pay, the funds will be added to your card the next day.

Presto Pay:

Setting up a Presto Pay account is easy, however it does require a few days for processing. Once you submit your bank account information, you must watch your bank account for two small deposits from Great Lakes Scrip. You must enter these amounts on shopwithscrip.com to finish your account activation. It may take several days for the amounts to appear in your bank account.

Sprouts Scrips are also available! These can be ordered on the www.shopwithscrip.com website as well.
