AUDITION ABCs: If you want to increase your chances of getting in a show or of getting that role you have always wanted, the best thing to do is to be prepared. This class will give you the tools that you will need to give the best audition that you can. Confidence, the right song choice, being focused, all of these are so important when you audition for a show. In CYTs Audition ABCs class you will learn to be yourself, relax, and realize that auditions don't have to be a scary thing, but something that is thrilling and fun.
Ages 8-18

*AUDITIONS ABC's counts as one core 101 class and can be taken in place of any one of the three: Acting, Voice or Dance classes. Students must complete a total of three core CYT 101 classes in order to be eligible for any advanced class.*

A message from the teacher:

Welcome to “Audition ABCs”! I am really excited to work with everyone in this fun and challenging class. I hope that each and every student comes to class each week ready to learn, be challenged, share his or her passion for musicals and most importantly, HAVE FUN!

May – CYT SHOWCASE.

Showcase is a mandatory part of the CYT session.* I like to feature each of the kids in my class during the showcase so it is vital that they all be in class and at showcase! One missing person can and does make a BIG difference in rehearsals and performances. Please contact me if you know that your kiddo will need to miss a class or if they are ill. Also, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns about the class in general – Kristin Hathaway

*If you know that your child will be unable to attend showcase for whatever reason, PLEASE let me know as early in the session as possible so that I can make proper adjustments to the showcase piece.
