CYT Summer Theater Camp Theme

Spend your summer in the spotlight at CYT Denver Summer Theater Camps! We are holding six summer camps throughout the Denver area. Younger campers (ages 6-12) can even enjoy two weeks of summer fun with two different themes.







Princesses and Pirates (Ages 6-7 & 8-12)
What happens when a bunch of pirates meet a group of beautiful princesses? Adventure and fun! In this all new summer camp we will be performing songs from Annie Get Your Gun, Veggie Tales, Snow White, Enchanted, and more! Also campers will learn a wide variety of theatre skills in our workshops, and of coarse… play tons of games! So join us this summer on an enchanted treasure hunt and register today!






Summer At The Movies (Ages 13-18)
Summer is always the best time to go see all of the latest blockbusters at your local movie theatre. This summer CYT is bringing the movies to the stage! Teens will have a great time learning and performing songs from some of the biggest movies of all time. Plus they will learn some numbers from hit movies that made the leap to the great white way. So get ready for a trip to Hollywood this summer and register today!


Not only will campers have opportunities to grow in and develop their theatrical skills, but their character will also be challenged to thrive and grow. Each week is filled with thematic days like: camp t-shirt day, pajama day, crazy hat, hair & sock day, Hawaiian/water day, and performance day. All campers perform in a showcase (a short performance) on Friday afternoon.

Dates for CYT Summer Theater Camp

Kid Camp Ages 6-7 (M-F; 9am-1pm) Cost: $140/week. On Friday they stay for the full day and join the older campers to showcase their talent for family and friends.

Youth Camp Ages 8-12 (M-F, 9am-3pm) Cost: $185/week  At Friday afternoon’s showcase, campers perform for family and friends.

Teen Camp Ages 13-18 (M-F, 9am-3pm) Cost: $185/week. On Friday, the teens showcase their talent in an afternoon showcase.
